About Ms. Cude

About Me:

I grew up in San Antonio, Texas, with my parents and older brother. I attended Alamo Heights High School, and upon graduation moved to Austin, Texas. I went to St. Edward’s University in South Austin, and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in English, and Secondary Education. Throughout my time at St. Edward’s University I participated in several internships at different schools in Austin I.S.D. to gain a clearer understanding about the teaching career, as well as to develop my skills as a teacher. Upon graduation I was employed at a public charter school in Pflugerville, teaching English, Language Arts. After a year teaching at the charter school, I followed my career path to Austin I.S.D. working for the Learning Support Centers. I am currently attending Texas State University for my Master’s Degree in Educational Technology.

I am certified 8-12 English, Language Arts and Reading, English as a Second Language, and EC-12 Special Education.

I am recently engaged, and planning my wedding for December 2013 on the San Antonio Riverwalk. My fiance and I have a rescue puppy named Mesa, who is a complete Mess-a.

I look forward to working with and getting to know each student throughout this process!
